Kassie came to Shining Rock after working in early childhood education for many years. This will be her 9th year at SRCA. Kassie earned her Master’s in instructional coaching from Clemson University in 2021. At SRCA, Kassie taught first grade, K-3 EC, and 6 years of kindergarten before moving to 3rd grade. Kassie loves to incorporate hands-on experiential learning into her lessons to engage all learners. Outside of school, you can find her at rock concerts, reading books, and spending time with her family.
