Heather is an Exceptional Children’s teacher at Shining Rock Classical Academy, where she works with students in grades 6–8. What she loves most about her job is getting to know her students, finding what works for each of them, and helping them see what they are capable of. She believes some of the best learning happens when students feel comfortable, supported, and understood. Heather loves celebrating the little wins that build confidence and lead to bigger successes. Outside of school, she loves spending time with her family and dogs, being outside, and enjoying life at home.
