Aimee brings many years of experience in the nonprofit sector to Shining Rock Classical Academy. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, she began her career in marketing and development at The Arc of the Capital Area, where she supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while coordinating volunteer programs.
Over the past five years, Aimee founded and led the operations and board of directors for a local 501(c)(3) farmers market. She has also served on the board of a local community center for the past seven years, where she has helped lead its food pantry. She is deeply committed to building strong communities and investing in the future of Western North Carolina’s children.
Outside of school, Aimee enjoys spending time with her seven-year-old son. In her free time, she loves running, practicing yoga, and oil painting.
